''Change Partners'' is a 1965 British crime drama directed by Robert Lynn and starring Anthony Dawson, Zena Walker and Kenneth Cope. Basil Henson
Basil Henson (31 July 1918 – 19 December 1990) was an English actor. Henson had a lengthy career on stage and television. His stage performances included a number of parts in Shakespeare productions, including ''The Merchant of Venice'' opposite Dustin Hoffman in London's West End and on Broadway. He also played in the original West End production of Terence Rattigan's ''Separate Tables'' at the St. James' Theatre in 1954. He appeared frequently at the National Theatre, including a part in the world premiere of ''Amadeus'' by Peter Shaffer. He had the very rare honour of having a dressing room there named after him. He also appeared in many British films during his career. The ''Edgar Wallace Mysteries'' is a British second-feature film series mainly produced at Merton Park Studios for Anglo-Amalgamated. There were 48 films in the series, which were released between 1960 and 1965. The series was screened as ''The Edgar Wallace Mystery Theatre'' on television in the United States. Synopsis Producers Nat Cohen and Stuart Levy acquired the film rights to all of Edgar Wallace's books and stories in 1960. The original intent was that 30 of the films would be produced by Independent Artists at Beaconsfield Studios while a further 20 would be made by the Film Producers Guild at Merton Park Studios. In the event, Independent Artists' only contribution to the series would be The Malpas Mystery while more than double the intended 20 were made at Merton Park. The resulting adaptations were loose, with very few using Wallace's original titles. Anthony Dawson
Anthony Douglas Gillon Dawson (18 October 1916 – 8 January 1992) was a Scottish actor, best known for his supporting roles as villains in films such as Alfred Hitchcock's ''Dial M for Murder'' (1954) and '' Midnight Lace'' (1960), and playing Professor Dent in the James Bond film '' Dr. No'' (1962). He also appeared as Ernst Stavro Blofeld in '' From Russia with Love'' (1963) and '' Thunderball'' (1965). Life Dawson was born in Edinburgh, the son of Ida Violet (Kittel) and Eric Francis Dawson.
