Chandra Mohan (Hindi Actor)
Chandra Mohan (24 July 1906 – 2 April 1949) was an Indian actor, known for his work in Hindi cinema in the 1930s and 1940s. He became known for his villainous roles in a number of critical and commercial successes. Life and career Born in Narsinghpur in Madhya Pradesh, he was known for his large grey eyes, voice modulation and dialogue delivery. His eyes form the opening sequence in V. Shantaram's 1934 film ''Amrit Manthan'', which was also his film debut. It was the first film made in the newly established Prabhat Films studio, and made both in Hindi and Marathi. Mohan received acclaim for his role as Rajguru and went on to establish himself as a noted villain of the time. Mohan later appeared as Emperor Jehangir in Sohrab Modi's '' Pukar'', as Randhir Singh in Mehboob Khan's ''Humayun'' and as Seth Laxmidas, in Mehboob Khan's ''Roti''. Chandra Mohan (born Mallampalli Chandrasekhara Rao; 23 May 1944) is an Indian actor known for his works predominantly in Telugu films. He has garnered one Filmfare Award South and two Nandi Awards. He received critical reception for his performance in box office hits such as '' Rangula Ratnam'' (1966) for which he received the state Nandi Award for Best Actor, ''Padaharella Vayasu'' (1978) for which he won the Filmfare Best Actor Award (Telugu), and ''Siri Siri Muvva'' (1978). His first Tamil film was '' Naalai Namadhe'' (1975). Some of the films in which he starred as the lead actor are ''Seetamalakshmi'' (1978), '' Ram Robert Rahim'' (1980), '' Radha Kalyanam'' (1981), '' Rendu Rellu Aaru'' (1986), and ''Chandamama Raave'' (1987). Chandra Mohan Patowary is an Indian politician from Assam. As an MLA, he represented the Dharmapur constituency from 1985-1990,1991-1996,1996-2001,2006-2011,2016-till date and served as the Leader of the Opposition in the Assam Legislative Assembly from 2006-2011.
