Chandler Smith
Chandler Smith Sr. (born June 26, 2002) is an American professional stock car racing driver. He competes full-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, driving the No. 16 Chevrolet Camaro for Kaulig Racing. He was a member of Toyota Racing Development's TD2 program from 2018 until the end of the 2022 season. Racing career In 2013, Smith won the bandoleros national championship after two wins at Atlanta, one at Charlotte and one at Bethel Motor Speedway. In 2018, Smith made his ARCA Racing Series debut at the Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway and won the pole after qualifying was rained out. He led 51 laps and finished 5th in the race. In his fourth ARCA Series start, Smith dominated at Madison International Speedway and won his first race after leading the most laps. Madison International Speedway
The Madison International Speedway (MIS) is a half-mile paved oval racetrack in the Town of Rutland near Oregon, Wisconsin, United States. With 18-degree banked turns, the track is billed as "The Track of Champions" and "Wisconsin's Fastest Half Mile." The weekly program at the track runs on Friday nights under NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series sanction. The 2021 UNOH 200 presented by Ohio Logistics was the 18th stock car race of the 2021 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, the 24th iteration of the event, and the final and thus cutoff race for the Round of 10 for the playoffs. The race was held on Thursday, September 16, 2021 in Bristol, Tennessee at Bristol Motor Speedway, a permanent oval racetrack. The race took 200 laps to complete. A driver development program (or driver development team) is a system or structure designed for young kart and race car drivers to learn and perfect their racing skills. These programmes are devised by racing teams, external companies and funded partnerships primarily to attract and develop future racing talent. Most programmes now employ a wide range of skilled coaches and technologies to train all of the physical and psychological abilities inherent in driving at the limit and winning races. The Clarington 200 (formerly the Mosport 200) is a NASCAR Pinty's Series stock car race held twice annually at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park in Bowmanville, Ontario, Canada.
