Chandi Jones (born March 25, 1982) is a professional basketball player. Jones is the daughter of Janice and David Jones , a former professional football player who later became a collegiate basketball coach. High school Born in Wharton, Texas, Jones was a basketball and long jump standout at Bay City High School in Bay City, Texas. Jones was named a WBCA All-American. She participated in the 2000 WBCA High School All-America Game, where she scored four points. College Jones attended college at University of Houston, where she helped bring the women's basketball program to national prominence. During her freshman season, Jones tore an anterior cruciate ligament, and missed the final eleven games of the season. Chandi Prasad Bhatt
Chandi Prasad Bhatt (born 23 June 1934) is an Indian Gandhian environmentalist and social activist, who founded Dasholi Gram Swarajya Sangh (DGSS) in Gopeshwar in 1964, which later became a mother-organization to the Chipko Movement, in which he was one of the pioneers, and for which he was awarded the Ramon Magsaysay Award for Community Leadership in 1982, followed by the Padma Bhushan in 2005. Today he is known for his work on subaltern social ecology, and considered one of India's first modern environmentalist. In 2013, he was the recipient of the Gandhi Peace Prize. Chandi Lahiri (March 13, 1931 – January 18, 2018) was an Indian journalist and cartoonist. Early life Chandi Lahiri was born in the historical township of Nabadwip, West Bengal. He was born to Mohini Mohan and Probodhbala Lahiri. He was involved in active politics in his teens. He studied in Hindu school in Nabadwip. He did his graduation from Vidyasagar College, Nabadwip. He was the 42nd Vice Chief of the Army Staff and assumed office on 1 February 2021 following the superannuation of Satinder Kumar Saini.
