Chan Yuen Ting
Chan Yuen Ting (; born 7 October 1988) is a former football player and coach. She is the current head coach of Jiangsu L.F.C. In 2016, she became the first woman to coach a men's professional football team to the championship of a nation's top league. In 2017, she became the first woman to coach a male football club in a top-flight continental competition when she managed Eastern against Guangzhou Evergrande in a match of AFC Champions League. Chan holds the AFC “Pro” License and AFC “Futsal Level 2” License coaching certifications. Career In December 2015, Chan was appointed as the manager of Eastern Sports Club in the Hong Kong Premier League, replacing Yeung Ching Kwong. She was the first female manager in the league. The Hong Kong Top Footballers Awards (), established by the Hong Kong Football Association in 1978, recognizes the top performers for each season's Hong Kong Premier League. The prizes are decided according to the votes from mass media and the general public. The Best Eleven Squad are voted by the public, Premier League coaches and managers and staff from different mass media. The Hong Kong Senior Challenge Shield (), known commonly as the Senior Shield, is the football knockout inter-club competition held in Hong Kong and the fourth oldest football tournament in Asia. Traditionally, only the teams in the Hong Kong Premier League are entered into the competition. However, on occasion teams in lower divisions, usually the champions of the Junior Shield, are invited in order to increase the number of participating teams. AFC Professional Coaching Diploma
The AFC Professional Coaching Diploma, also known as the AFC Pro-Diploma, is the highest level of coaching accreditation issued by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC). The diploma was first awarded by the AFC in 2001. The AFC considers the diploma the equivalent of the UEFA Pro Licence. Structure Students are required to have completed the B coaching certificate. Sha Tin
Sha Tin, also spelt Shatin, is a neighbourhood along Shing Mun River in the eastern New Territories, Hong Kong. Administratively, it is part of the Sha Tin District. Sha Tin is one of the neighbourhoods of the Sha Tin New Town project. The new town was founded in 1973 under the New Towns Development Programme of the Hong Kong government. Its current name was named after the nearby village of Sha Tin Wai. The literal English translation is 'Sand Fields'.
