The Champs are an American rock band, most famous for their Latin-tinged rock and roll instrumental "Tequila". The group took their name from that of Gene Autry's horse, Champion, and was formed by studio executives at Autry's Challenge Records to record a B-side for the Dave Burgess single, "Train to Nowhere". The intended throwaway track became more famous than its A-side, as "Tequila" went to No. 1 in just three weeks, and the band became the first group to go to the top spot with an instrumental that was their first release. Charter High of the Arts Multimedia and Performing (or CHAMPS) is a public high school that operates in the Phoenix office building. The campus is located at 6842 Van Nuys Boulevard, in Van Nuys, Los Angeles, California, United States. It is operated as a Charter High School. Dr. Norman Isaacs began CHAMPS high school in 2005. Before becoming the founder of CHAMPS, Dr. Isaacs worked as the principal of Robert A. Millikan Middle School Performing Arts Magnet in Sherman Oaks. CHAMPS ( Chongqing, Hefei, Anshan, Ma'anshan, Pingdingshan and Shenyang) is an acronym that represents the top 20 emerging cities in China. It was coined in October 2010 by Stephen Joske, Director, China Forecasting, for the Economist Intelligence Unit. Champ-sur-Yonne () is a commune in the Yonne department in Bourgogne-Franche-Comté in north-central France. Its inhabitants are called "Champicaunais". Champs-sur-Yonne is part of the metropolitan area of Auxerre Geography Champs is in the Valley of the Yonne River, on the east bank of the river. The soil is alluvial, made both from local limestones and erosion products from the source of the Yonne in the Morvan.
