Champion Forest is a neighborhood in unincorporated northwest Harris County, Texas, United States, in Greater Houston. It is located near Farm to Market Road 1960 and Texas State Highway 249 next to Willowbrook. Bill Murphy of the ''Houston Chronicle'' described the neighborhood as "affluent".Murphy, Bill.Eckels opposes country club plans. Farm To Market Road 1960
Farm to Market Road 1960 (FM 1960) is a farm-to-market road in the U.S. state of Texas, maintained by the Texas Department of Transportation. Its western terminus is at an intersection with U.S. Highway 290 (US 290) and State Highway 6 (SH 6) in northwestern Harris County. It travels generally to the east, ending at SH 321 in Dayton in western Liberty County. FM 1960 has long been an artery in Greater Houston, though it has been shortened and re-routed over the years. State Highway 249 (SH 249), also known depending on its location as West Mount Houston Road, the Tomball Parkway, Tomball Tollway, MCTRA 249 Tollway, or the Aggie Expressway, is a generally north–south highway in Southeast Texas. The southern terminus is in North Houston at Interstate 45 (I-45). The current northern terminus of the highway is east of Navasota at SH 105. Willowbrook is an area in northwest Houston, Texas, United States bordered by the Cutten Road to the east, Grant to the north, Rockland to the west, and Beltway 8 to the south. An animal sanctuary is a facility where animals are brought to live and to be protected for the rest of their lives. Pattrice Jones, co-founder of VINE Sanctuary defines an animal sanctuary as "a safe-enough place or relationship within the continuing hazards that menace everybody".
