''Chamberlain Waits'' is the second studio album by American punk rock band The Menzingers. The album was voted the best release of 2010, by Australian radio show Bullying The Jukebox. Release On January 5, 2010, ''Chamberlain Waits'' was announced for release in three months' time. Following this, the band supported Anti-Flag on their headlining US tour. On March 2, 2010, the album's artwork and track listing were posted online. On March 16, 2010, "I Was Born" was released as a single with "Mea Culpa Cabana" and "My Friend Chris" as its B-sides. Later in the month, the band performed at Harvest of Hope Fest. ''Chamberlain Waits'' was made available for streaming on Myspace on April 6, 2010, before being released through Red Scare Industries on April 13, 2010. The Menzingers
The Menzingers are an American punk rock band from Scranton, Pennsylvania, formed in 2006. The band consists of Greg Barnett (vocals, guitar), Tom May (vocals, guitar), Eric Keen (bass) and Joe Godino (drums). To date, the band has released seven studio albums, with their most recent, ''From Exile,'' released on September 25, 2020. History The Menzingers formed in the wake of Scranton ska-punk/pop punk bands Bob and the Sagets, featuring Tom May, Joe Godino, Eric Keen, and non-Menzingers members Lee Hartney & Curtis Irie, currently of Irie Idea; and Kos Mos, featuring Greg Barnett, Adam Mcilwee of Tigers Jaw, and Wicca Phase Springs Eternal; and Leo Vergnetti of Captain, We're Sinking. Brendan Kelly (born September 8, 1976) is the bassist/vocalist of Chicago-based punk band The Lawrence Arms, as well as guitarist/lead vocalist in The Falcon and Brendan Kelly and the Wandering Birds. Kelly's former bands include Slapstick and The Broadways. He is known for his raspy vocals, drunken demeanor, and onstage witticisms. Kelly appeared on ''The Daily Show'' in a correspondent piece by Ed Helms entitled "The Clash" in which he criticized Michale Graves for being a Republican. Early life and education He attended Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, and graduated in 2000 with a Bachelor's Degree in Radio, Television, and Film. Soul Control is a German musical duo consisting of Thomas "Tom" Quella (born 1970 in Berlin) and Leonard "Leo" Buck (born 1979 in Sierra Leone). Cheap Girls were an American rock band from Lansing, Michigan. The band consisted of brothers Ian Graham (guitar, lead vocals) and Ben Graham (drums, back-up vocals), Jason Draper (Bass) and Adam Aymor (guitar). Formed in 2007, the band quickly began recording and touring, releasing their first album ''Find Me a Drink Home'' in 2008. Together they released four full-length studio albums. The band toured with bands such as Against Me!, The Gaslight Anthem, The Hold Steady, and The Bouncing Souls across the US and Europe. Harvest of Hope Fest was a charity fundraiser and music festival that provided financial support for the Harvest of Hope Foundation which benefits migrant and seasonal farmworkers. The three-day event took place in March 2009 and 2010 at the St. Johns County Fairgrounds in St. Augustine, Florida, United States.
