History and background

Chalet Eugenia was built after World War II and was completed in 1958 by Baron Hans Heinrich Thyssen-Bornemisza, Baroness Thyssen-Bornemisza. It was subsequently bought by the Bentinck family and later sold in 2012 to the Swiss people, Swiss businessman Rolf Theiler.
