Chaitrada Premanjali
''Chaitrada Premanjali'' is a 1992 Indian Kannada-language romance drama film directed and written by S. Narayan making his debut in direction. The film stars newcomers Raghuveer and Shwetha along with Lokesh and Abhijeeth in other pivotal roles. The film met with positive reviews upon release from critics and audience eventually becoming the musical hit of the year. The film featured original score and soundtrack composed and written by Hamsalekha. The soundtrack proved to be one of the biggest hit albums of the year. Plot Fresh faces romance with a tragic end. Karate champion Prem (Raghuveer) goes to the family country retreat to practice for a tournament and falls for village girl Anju (Shweta). Her father (Lokesh), however, prevents the marriage and tries to force her to marry a womanizer with an obliging father. Raghuveer (actor)
Raghuveer was an Indian actor and producer in the Kannada film industry. Film career Raghuveer came to the Kannada film industry as a hero through ''Ajay Vijay'' back in 1991. Though he made his debut as a hero alongside Murali (Tamil actor), Murali in ''Ajay Vijay'', it was S. Narayan's ''Chaitrada Premanjali'' (1992), which catapulted him to success. He then went on to act in ''Shrungara Kavya'' (1993). However his subsquent films ''Kaaveri Theeradalli'' (1994), ''Naviloora Naidile'' (1995), and ''Thungabhadra'' (1995) were all box office failures and the film ''Kaadina Kaggathalu'' was removed from theaters the day that it was released. He took a hiatus from films and later returned. His film ''Mugila Chumbana'' had a delayed release in 2013. Lahari Recording Company is an Indian music company based in Bangalore. It owns a music label called "Lahari Music" also a film production company called "Lahari Films LLP". They later ventured into construction under the name of HomEquity India Private Limited brand. History The company was established in 1974 by Manohar Naidu with a seed capital of Rs.500. Latha, commonly known as Latha Hamsalekha, is an Indian playback singer in Kannada. She is the wife of composer Hamsalekha. Chandrika Gururaj (born 4 October 1959), is an Indian playback singer, known for her works in Kannada. Apart from film songs, she has also recorded numerous devotional, bhaavageethe and folk songs.
