The Speaker of the Assembly of Kosovo (, literally translated as ''President of the Assembly of Kosovo'', or , literally translated as ''Speaker of the Parliament'', Serbian language, Serbian: / , literally translated as ''President of the Assembly of Kosovo'') is the chair of Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo, who is elected by the parliament during the opening session. Coat Of Arms Of Kosovo
The coat of arms of the Republic of Kosovo was introduced following the unilateral declaration of independence on 17 February 2008. It shows six white stars in an arc above a solid golden shape of Kosovo as seen on a standard projection map, placed on a rounded triangular shield with a blue field and a golden border. Its central figures, the stars and the shape, are also the content of the new blue flag of Kosovo, already adopted at the same time. Jakup Krasniqi (born 1 January 1951) is a Kosovo-Albanian politician and former acting President of Kosovo. He is former Chairman of the Assembly of Kosovo Early life Jakup Krasniqi was born near Glogovac, Kosovo, at the time in Yugoslavia, to Albanian parents of the Krasniqi tribe. Lëvizja Vetëvendosje (, en, Self-determination Movement; LVV) is a centre-left to left-wing political party in Kosovo. It is orientated towards principles of social democracy, populism, and Albanian nationalism. Vetëvendosje was founded in 2005 as a grassroots, anti-establishment movement and as a successor of the Kosova Action Network (KAN) and participated in elections for the first time in 2010. Flora Brovina
Flora Brovina (born 30 September 1949) is a Kosovar Albanian poet, pediatrician and women's rights activist. She was born in the town of Srbica in the Drenica Valley of Kosovo, and was raised in Prishtina, where she went to school and began studying medicine. After finishing her university studies in Zagreb, where she specialized in pediatrics, she returned to Kosovo and worked for a time as a journalist for the Albanian-language daily newspaper ''Rilindja''.
