Chainpur, Sankhuwasabha
Chainpur is a municipality in Sankhuwasabha District in the Kosi Zone of north-eastern Nepal. It was formed by merging five villages i.e. Chainpur, Siddhakali, Siddhapokhari, Baneshwar and Kharang. The municipality was implemented on 18 May 2014. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 4933 people in 948 households. Chainpur is an ancient market place of the eastern region of Nepal. It has been famous for hundreds of years for Karuwa, a special kind of water mug with pipe tap sculptured with artistic carving on exterior of it. It used to be district headquarters of Sankhuwasabha before it was shifted to Khandbari Khandbari is the district headquarters of Sankhuwasabha District in Province No. 1 of north-eastern Nepal. Chainpur, Bajhang
Chainpur is an ancient town in Jaya Prithvi Municipality and headquarters of Bajhang District in the Seti Zone of north-western Nepal. The formerly Village development committee (Nepal), Village Development Committee was merged to form new municipality from 18 May 2014. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 4,143 and had 759 houses in the village. It has a grass runway in town with limited flights. Chainpur, Bihar
Chainpur is one of the largest villages of Saharsa District in the Indian state of Bihar in North-East India, and is in the Kosi Division. In the revenue documents, it is mentioned as 'Chainpur Uttar Khand'. Chainpur has a number of tolas and occasionally called Pubari, Pachhwari, Uttarwari and Dakshinwari tola. Chainpur block is a CD block that forms an administrative division in the Chainpur subdivision of Gumla district, in the Indian state of Jharkhand.
