''Chain Aye Na'' ( pa, چین آئے نہ meaning "State of Restlessness") is a 2017 Pakistani Romantic-Drama film written and directed by Syed Noor. The film received negative reviews from critics and was a critical and commercial failure. The film turned out to be one of the biggest box office disappointments of Pakistani Cinema in 2017. It was an unofficial remake of the 1986 Pakistani film ''Beqarar'' starring Babra Sharif and Faisal Rehman. Plot The movie follows Rayyan ( Shehroz Subzwari), a young musician who falls in love with Ruba (Sarish Khan) at first sight. Ruba has no interest in Rayyan as she is happily engaged to Murad. Syed Noor
Syed Noor (Punjabi language, Punjabi, ur, ) (born Syed Ghulam Mohyuddin Noor) is a Pakistani film director based in Lahore. In 1970 Syed Noor joined the Pakistani film industry as an assistant to director S. Suleman. Noor assisted S. Suleman for 18 feature films, after which, he penned his first script for the film, "Society Girl" in 1976, which was considered the best film of the year. After the success of his first film, Noor became the prime screenwriting talent in the Pakistani film industry and worked with all the prominent directors of the time. Syed Noor wrote about 250 films from 1976 to 1992. His written scripts and screenplays were both in Urdu and in Punjabi. Faisal Rehman commonly known as Faisal is a Pakistani film and television actor, writer and director. He has worked in 36 films and many television shows. Biography Faisal Rehman's ancestors hail from Afghanistan with roots in the Mohammadzai clan of Kabul belonging to Barakzai branch of the Durrani confederacy. His ancestors moved to India in 1905 during British Raj. He is a nephew of noted Bollywood actor, Rehman, and his brother Fasih Ur Rehman is a classical dancer, their father is cinematographer Massud-ur-Rehman.
