Chaelundi National Park, a national park comprising , is located in the Northern Tablelands district of New South Wales, Australia. Features Chaelundi National Park is north-west of Dorrigo and Grafton, approximately by road north of Sydney. Comprising of old-growth forest and of declared wilderness, the park creates a habitat for 187 (indigenous and non-indigenous) species according to the Atlas of NSW Wildlife. The park was proclaimed in January 1997, on land formerly designated as a State-owned production forest. Dorrigo, a small town on the Waterfall Way, is located on the Northern Tablelands, in northern New South Wales, Australia. The town is part of Bellingen local government area. It is approximately north of the state capital, Sydney via the Pacific Highway, and west from the coastal city of Coffs Harbour. The High Conservation Value Old Growth forest is a heritage-listed forest located across twelve local government areas in the Northern Rivers, Mid North Coast, and New England regions of New South Wales, Australia.
