Chad Price
Chad Price is the lead singer for the melodic punk band ALL and alt-country band Drag the River. He is currently the lead singer for A Vulture Wake. He joined ALL in 1993 as the band's third singer, after Dave Smalley and Scott Reynolds. He has appeared on the four most recent studio albums, as well as one live album. He is officially still a member of the band, although Scott Reynolds has been joining the band on certain live dates. In 1996, while still active with ALL, Price formed Drag The River with Jon Snodgrass. Drag The River announced a break in 2007, although they were together again by 2008. On October 29, 2009, Price released his first solo record ''Smile Sweet Face''. Melodic Punk
Melodic hardcore is a broadly defined subgenre of hardcore punk with a strong emphasis on melody in its guitar work. It generally incorporates fast rhythms, melodic and often distorted guitar riffs, and vocal styles tending towards shouting and screaming. Nevertheless, the genre has been very diverse, with different bands showcasing very different styles. Many pioneering melodic hardcore bands (such as Bad Religion and Descendents), have proven influential across the spectrum of punk rock, as well as rock music more generally. Mass Nerder
''Mass Nerder'' is the seventh album by the punk rock band All. It was released on Epitaph Records in 1998. Background and recording In mid 1996, All began working on their next, then untitled, studio album. At the same time, Milo Aukerman was considering to permanently reunite the Descendents, and was beginning sessions for the band's next album Everything Sucks. All joined Aukerman on the sessions, where they played demos of the Descendants' songs. Price and Aukerman then split the album in two and took turns picking songs for Everything Sucks or Mass Nerder. The band recorded a total of 18 tracks for the new album, of which only four ("Vida Blue," "Silence," "Until Then" and "Good As My Word") would make it onto Mass Nerder. ''Look Forward to Failure'' is an EP released on November 10, 1998 by The Ataris on Fat Wreck Chords. This was the first album released to feature fan favorite "San Dimas High School Football Rules", a song that would later appear on '' Blue Skies, Broken Hearts...Next 12 Exits''. The band also intended on putting the song "That Special Girl" on ''Blue Skies, Broken Hearts'' as well but it didn't make the cut. The song features Mark Hoppus of Blink-182 on backing vocals.
