Chad Brown (basketball)
Chad Brown (born September 6, 1996) is an American professional basketball player who last played for Apollon Patras of the Greek Basket League. He played college basketball for the UCF Knights. Early life and high school career Brown attended Deltona High School at Deltona, Florida. A four star prospect by Scout.com, Brown averaged 14.7 points, 15 rebounds and 9.4 blocks per game as a senior. College career Brown played for UCF Knights from 2015 to 2019. As a junior, he averaged 5.2 points and 4.6 rebounds per game, shooting 51 percent from the field, while playing along with Tacko Fall. The same season, he led the team in blocks, averaging 1.1 blocks per game. During his senior season, he averaged 4.5 points, 5 rebounds, and 1 block per game. Professional career After going undrafted in the 2019 NBA draft, Brown joined the Dallas Mavericks, on October 17, 2019, but was waived after two days. The center (C), or the centre, also known as the five or the pivot, is one of the five Basketball position, positions in a regulation basketball game. The center is normally the tallest player on the team, and often has a great deal of strength and body mass as well. In the NBA, the center is typically close to tall. VTB United League (russian: Единая Лига ВТБ) is an international professional men's club basketball list of basketball leagues, league that was founded in 2008. It is made up of mostly Russian clubs, along with one each from Belarus and Kazakhstan. Since VTB United League 2013–14, 2013, it is the Russian basketball league system, first tier of Russian professional club basketball. The Basketball Super League ( tr, Basketbol Süper Ligi; BSL), also known as the Türkiye Sigorta Basketbol Süper Ligi for sponsorship reasons, is the top men's professional basketball division of the Turkish basketball league system. It replaced the former Turkish Basketball Championship (1946–1966) to become the Turkish Basketball League (TBL) until 2015 when it adopted its current name while the TBL name became exclusive to the second-tier and third-tier divisions. The Basketball Champions League (BCL) is an annual professional basketball competition for European clubs, organised by FIBA. It is the top-level competition organised by FIBA Europe, therefore the champion participates in the FIBA Intercontinental Cup. Canadian Elite Basketball League
The Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL) is a men's professional minor league basketball organization. The CEBL was founded in 2017 and began play in 2019 with six teams competing all owned and operated by ownership group Canadian Basketball Ventures. The league currently consists of ten teams from six different provinces, with four being from Ontario, two from Alberta and one each from the provinces of British Columbia, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and Quebec, making the CEBL the largest professional sports league based entirely in Canada. The Basketball Bundesliga (BBL) (English language: ''Federal Basketball League''), for sponsorship reasons named easyCredit BBL, is the highest level league of professional club basketball in Germany. The league comprises 18 teams. A BBL season is split into a league stage and a playoff stage. At the end of the league stage, the top eight teams qualify for the playoff stage, and the teams positioned in the 17th and 18th places are relegated to a lower-tier league.
