Huarochirí Province
Huarochirí Province (in hispanicized spelling) or Waruchiri is located in the Lima Region of Peru. Its capital is Matucana. The western section is part of the Lima Metropolitan Area. The sea ground of P'itiqucha is elevated in the middle which almost divides it into two parts. The naming of the lake refers to this interruption.
