Cezary Skubiszewski
Cezary Skubiszewski is a Polish-born Australian film and television composer. Among others, he has composed film scores for '' Red Dog'', '' Two Hands'', '' The Sapphires'', and TV series '' Picnic at Hanging Rock''. Career Skubiszewski first made his mark composing the score for Jerzy Domaradzki's ''Lilian's Story''. He has worked with many Australian directors, composing scores for Gregor Jordan's '' Two Hands'', Tony MacNamara's ''The Rage in Placid Lake'' and Gillian Armstrong's ''Death Defying Acts''. For his work on film music Skubiszewski has received many awards including two from the Australian Film Institute (AFI) for ''Bootmen'' and ''La Spagnola''. Skubiszewski also co-composed the music to the Australian Army's "Rise" recruiting campaign, Carlton Draught's 'Big Ad' and 'VB Symphony'. Red Dog (film)
''Red Dog'' is a 2011 Australian comedy-drama family film written by Daniel Taplitz, directed by Kriv Stenders and produced by Nelson Woss and Julie Ryan. It stars Koko as the title character, Josh Lucas, Rachael Taylor, and John Batchelor. The film is based on the true story of Red Dog and uses the 2002 novel '' Red Dog'' by Louis de Bernières as the primary source. The Book Of Revelation (film)
''The Book of Revelation'' is a 2006 Australian arthouse film directed by Ana Kokkinos and starring Tom Long, Greta Scacchi, Colin Friels, and Anna Torv. The film is adapted from the 2000 psychological fiction novel by Damien Broderick, Rory Barnes, and Rupert Thomson. It tells the story of vengeance of a dancer named Daniel who is abducted and sodomised. It was produced by Al Clark and the soundtrack was created by Cezary Skubiszewski. The Society Murders is the name given to the 4 April 2002 familicide of husband and wife millionaire socialites Margaret Mary Wales-King, 69, and husband, Paul Aloysius King, 75, in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, by Wales-King's 34-year-old son, Matthew Robert Wales. Australian Guild Of Screen Composers
The Australian Guild of Screen Composers (AGSC) is a not for profit organisation, which was established in 1981, "to represent the interests of Australian screen composers by developing and promoting employment opportunities, undertaking educational initiatives and increasing their profile amongst the industry." It was established by Bruce Smeaton and Bruce Rowland.
