Cerdanyola del Vallès Futbol Club is a Spanish football team based in Cerdanyola del Vallès, Barcelona, in the autonomous community of Catalonia. Founded in 2006, it plays in Tercera División – Group 5, holding home games at ''Estadi Municipal La Bòbila-Pinetons''. History The club was founded in June 2006 as a result of the merger of Centro de Deportes Cerdanyola, UE Fontetes, EFUD Cerdanyola, CF Baroja and EF Cerdanyolense-Montflorit. The 2016–17 Tercera División was the fourth tier in Spanish football. It began on 20 August 2016 and ended on 26 June 2017 with the promotion play-off finals. 2021–22 Segunda División RFEF
The 2021–22 Segunda División RFEF season was the first for the Segunda División RFEF, the new fourth highest level in the Spanish football league system. It supplanted Tercera División, which downgraded to the fifth tier as Tercera División RFEF and succeeded the old Segunda División B, which was replaced by Primera División RFEF as the third level of the pyramid. Ninety teams will participate, divided into five groups of eighteen clubs each based on geographical proximity. In each group, the champions automatically promoted to Primera División RFEF, and the second to fifth placers will play promotion play-offs. 2020–21 Tercera División
The 2020–21 Tercera División was the last for this league as the fourth tier of Spanish football. It began in October 2020 and ended in June 2021 with the second phase and promotion play-off final in the Canarian group. Because the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) suspended the previous season on 11 March 2020 at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic in Spain, the RFEF announced on 6 May the termination of that season, the revocation of all relegations from the Segunda División B, Segunda B and Tercera divisions, and the expansion of both leagues. Cerdanyola Del Vallès
Cerdanyola del Vallès () is a municipality in the ''comarca'' of the Vallès Occidental in Catalonia, Spain. It is situated on the north side of the Collserola ridge. The town is served by the A-7 and C-58 motorways, the N-150 road and the Renfe railway commuter lines R4, R7 and railway regional line Ca4. It is well known as the site of the main campus of the ''Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona'' (at Bellaterra) and hosts the ALBA (synchrotron) located in the Barcelona Synchrotron Park.
