Cercle Des économistes
Le Cercle des économistes is a French think tank founded in 1992 by Jean-Hervé Lorenzi. The association is made up of 30 economists who are also French university academics. It is a non-profit organization whose mission is to organize and promote economic discussion and debate, which is open and accessible to everyone. Its members are distinguished by diverse approaches and varied areas of special competence, ensuring the richness and inclusiveness of its discussions. Le Cercle des économistes organizes various annual events (with its own in-house team) such as Les Rencontres Economiques d'Aix-en-Provence which has turned into an international economic forum, the association releases also several annual economic publications and its members are frequently solicited by French and international media. Jean Pisani-Ferry
Jean Pisani-Ferry (born July 28, 1951) is a French economist and public policy expert. He is a fellow at think tanks Bruegel in Brussels and the Peterson Institute for International Economics in Washington, D.C. He is also a senior professor in economics and public management at the Hertie School of Governance in Berlin, and a professor at the European University Institute near Florence. He served as Commissioner General for Policy Planning under Prime Minister Manuel Valls. Prior to this appointment, he was Director of Bruegel, the Brussels-based economic think tank, which he had co-founded in the early 2000s together with Nicolas Véron. BFM Business
BFM Business (called BFM for ''Business FM'' until April 2009 and BFM Radio until November 2010) is France's first business news channel. It's also the most-listened to business news radio station in this country. From November 2010, BFM Business is a national economic television station offering regional variation in Ile-de-France. That regional variation was shut down in November 2016 and replaced by a local news channel, BFM Paris. Founded in 1991 (radio), it has been part of NextRadioTV group since 2002. ''Les Echos'' is the first daily French financial newspaper, founded in 1908 by the brothers Robert and Émile Servan-Schreiber. It is the main competitor of ''La Tribune'', a rival financial paper. Christian de Boissieu (born 18 March 1947) is a French professor of economics at Pantheon-Sorbonne University, Paris. Biography Christian de Boissieu received a Ph.D. in economics in 1973 at the University of Paris-I Panthéon-Sorbonne.
