Central Union Of Consumer Associations Of Ukraine
Central Union of Consumer Associations of Ukraine (''Ukoopspilka'') ( uk, Центральна спілка споживчих товариств України (Укоопспілка), Tsentralʹna spilka spozhyvchykh tovarystv Ukrayiny) is a non-profit organization of Ukraine that serves as a representative and protects interests of consumer associations, societies and their members in respective state and international organizations. The Union is responsible for activities of cooperation movement members and development as well as promotion of cooperation ideas. The organization was initially created on June 7, 1920. Eventually it was integrated into the Centrosoyuz of the USSR and on June 17, 1992 it was reestablished once again. The International Co-operative Alliance (ICA) is a non-governmental co-operative federation or, more precisely, a co-operative union representing co-operatives and the co-operative movement worldwide. Khreshchatyk ( uk, Хрещатик, ) is the main street of Kyiv, Ukraine. The street has a length of . It stretches from the European Square (northeast) through the Maidan and to Bessarabska Square (southwest) where the Besarabsky Market is located. Centrosoyuz
The Tsentrosoyuz Building or Centrosoyuz Building (russian: Центросоюз) is a government structure in Moscow, Russia, constructed in 1933 by Le Corbusier and Nikolai Kolli. Centrosoyuz refers to a Soviet bureaucracy, the Central Union of Consumer Cooperatives. The building included office space for 3,500 personnel, as well as a restaurant, lecture halls, a theater, and other facilities. The address of the building is 39 Myasnitskaya Street, and the eastern side of the building faces Myasnitskaya Street. The western side, which was supposed to be the main entrance, faces Academician Sakharov Avenue.
