Central Public Library of Serres is a public library located in Serres, Macedonia, Greece. It was founded in 1952. It is administered by the Ministry of Education, Religion, Culture and Sports. The core of its collection has been provided by the Ministry of education, the National Library, the French Embassy, the Ministry of external affairs and with donations from the friends of the library. In our days, the enrichment of the collection is mainly made through orders. Sérres ( el, Σέρρες ) is a city in Macedonia, Greece, capital of the Serres regional unit and second largest city in the region of Central Macedonia, after Thessaloniki.
