Tyondai Braxton
Tyondai Adaien Braxton (born October 26, 1978) is an American composer and musician. He has been writing and performing music under his own name and collaboratively under various group titles and collectives since the mid-1990s, including in the experimental rock group Battles (band), Battles from its formation in 2002 until his departure from the group in 2010. He studied Musical composition, composition at the University of Hartford Hartt School, Hartt School of the University of Hartford in West Hartford, Connecticut with Robert Carl, Ingram Marshall, and Ken Steen. In 2022 Braxton joined the faculty of the music department at Princeton University. Background Originally the site of Cardiff gaol, the gallows were located on the site of the current St. Mary Street entrance, where Dic Penderyn was hanged on 13 August 1831. The market was designed by the Borough Surveyor, William Harpur, and opened in May 1891. A farmers' market is known to have existed at the site since the 18th century. Central Market was a fresh food market in Central, Hong Kong and the first wet market in the city. It is one of only two existing Bauhaus market buildings in Hong Kong, the other one being Wan Chai Market. After years of disuse, it was reopened to the public on Aug 23, 2021 as a new centre for retailers, eateries and public areas. This was after a major renovation led by the Urban Renewal Authority, which retained some original architectural structures, such as some market stalls and its iconic stairwell. Central Market was a public market in Downtown Columbus, Ohio. The market operated from 1814 to 1966, was the location of Columbus's first city hall for two decades, from 1850 to 1872. It moved three times, each time into successively larger buildings. The Central Market is a marketplace on Waterkant in the centre of Paramaribo, Suriname. The building has two floors. The ground floor contains the food market where fruits, vegetables, meat and fish are sold. The top floor is a generic retail market where clothing, cigarettes, CDs and other consumer goods are sold. The market is located on the Suriname River, and is open Monday to Saturday. Overview In July 1959, the city council decided to create a central, permanent market in the city which could accommodate 950 stalls.
