The Central District of Zirkuh County ( fa, بخش مرکزی شهرستان زیرکوه) is a district (bakhsh) in Zirkuh County, South Khorasan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 26,203, in 6,189 families. The District has two cities: Hajjiabad and Zohan. Bakhsh
A ( fa, بخش, also romanized as ) is a third-level administrative division of Iran. While sometimes translated as "county," it is more accurately translated as "district," similar to a township in the United States or a district of England. South Khorasan Province
South Khorasan Province ( fa, استان خراسان جنوبی ''Ostān-e Khorāsān-e Jonūbī'') is a province located in eastern Iran. Birjand is the centre of the province. The other major cities are Ferdows, Tabas and Qaen. In 2014, it was placed in Region 5. This new province, is but the old Quhistan which was included into greater Khorasan in the Iranian administrative planning. Petregan playa (in Persian: دق پترگان) is a playa (دق ''dagh'' in Persian) in eastern Iran next to the border with Afghanistan.
