The Central District of Tangestan County ( fa, بخش مرکزی شهرستان تنگستان) is a district (bakhsh) in Tangestan County, Bushehr Province, Iran. A ( fa, بخش, also romanized as ) is a third-level administrative division of Iran. While sometimes translated as "county," it is more accurately translated as "district," similar to a township in the United States or a district of England. Tangestan County ( fa, شهرستان تنگستان) is located in Bushehr province, Iran. The capital of the county is Ahram. At the 2006 census, the county's population was 63,276, in 14,620 households.
