Bakhsh
A ( fa, بخش, also romanized as ) is a third-level administrative division of Iran. While sometimes translated as "county," it is more accurately translated as "district," similar to a township in the United States or a district of England. In Iran, the provinces (first-level divisions) (استان, ''ostān'') consist of several counties (second-level divisions) (شهرستان, ''shahrestān''), and the counties consist of one or more districts (third-level divisions) (بخش, ''bakhsh''). Kangavar County ( fa, شهرستان کنگاور, ''Šahrestâne Kangâvar'') is in Kermanshah province, Kermanshah province, Iran. The capital of the county is the city of Kangavar. At the 2006 census, the county's population was 80,215 in 19,825 households. The following census in 2011 counted 81,051 people in 22,665 households. At the 2016 census, the county's population was 76,216 in 23,253 households. Kangavar
Kangavar ( fa, كنگاور, ''Kangâvar''; also Romanized as Kangāvar) is a city and capital of Kangavar County, Kermanshah Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 48,901, with 12,220 families. Kangavar is located in the easternmost part of Kermanshah Province, on the modern road from Hamadan to Kermanshah, identical with a trace of the Silk Road, located at the distance of about 75 km from Hamadan and 96 km from Kermanshah.
