Iran Standard Time (IRST) or Iran Time (IT) is the time zone used in Iran. Iran uses a UTC offset UTC+03:30. IRST is defined by the 52.5 degrees east meridian, the same meridian which defines the Iranian calendar and is the official meridian of Iran. Gonbaki ( fa, گنبکی) is a city in the Central District of Gonbaki County, Kerman province, Iran, serving as capital of both the county and the district. It is also the administrative center for Gonbaki Rural District. In October 2011, the village of Mohammadabad-e Gonbaki merged with the villages of Abbasabad, Aliabad, Behtarabad, Dowlatabad, Hasanabad, Hojjatabad, and Jannatabad to form the new city of Gonbaki. At the 2006 National Census, its population (as Mohammadad-e Gonbaki) was 128 in 34 households, when it was a village in Gonbaki Rural District of the former Rigan District of Bam County.
