Club Atlético Central Córdoba is an Argentina, Argentine sports club based in Santiago del Estero. The club is mostly known for its association football, football team, which currently plays in the Argentine Primera División, first division of the Argentine football league system. The club was founded by a group of railway workers and named after the Córdoba Central Railway in a similar manner to the other Central Córdoba club based in Rosario. History Central Córdoba has played at the highest level of Argentine football on 2 occasions, more specifically in the 1967 and 1971 Nacional championships. In the 1967 Nacional, Central Córdoba finished 14th of 16 teams, having reached its peak with the 2–1 victory over Boca Juniors in La Bombonera Stadium, La Bombonera. Estadio Alfredo Terrera
Estadio Alfredo Terrera is a stadium located in the city of Santiago del Estero in the Santiago del Estero Province, homonymous province of Argentina. Nahuel Banegas
Nahuel Eugenio Banegas (born 6 October 1996) is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as a left-back for Central Córdoba SdE. Career Banegas came through the youth ranks at Tigre. Matías Alejandro Laba (born 11 December 1991) is an Argentine footballer who plays as a midfielder for Unión La Calera. Club career Laba started his professional career playing for Argentinos Juniors in the 2011 Clausura, coming on as a second-half substitute in a 1–1 draw with Vélez Sársfield. Aníbal Jonathan Gastón Bay (born 1 February 1993) is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as a left-back for Central Córdoba SdE. Career Bay's career started with Racing de Córdoba in 2011, remaining with the Torneo Argentino A club for two seasons whilst netting two goals in forty-four games.
