''Star Circle Quest'' (SCQ) is a reality-based talent competition which premiered on March 1, 2004 locally on ABS-CBN and internationally through The Filipino Channel. It features at least 10 contestants called "questors" will have to undergo talent training, physical enhancement and different challenges to test their talent skills. The remaining questor after weekly eliminations will be declared as the Grand Questor. He or she takes home a cash prize and an exclusive contract with ABS-CBN Talent Center (now Star Magic). Erika Chryselle Gonzales Gancayco-Lorenzo (born September 20, 1990), better known by her stage name Erich Gonzales (), is a Filipino actress. She is a contract artist of ABS-CBN's Star Magic. Melissa Marie Ricks-Macatangay (born January 9, 1990) is a Filipino actress of American descent. She was a runner-up in the reality talent search '' Star Circle Quest'' on ABS-CBN. Background Career In 2004, Ricks joined the reality talent search of ABS-CBN, '' Star Circle Quest''. She was one of the top 10 Questors or Magic Circle of 10, and after few weeks of training, made it to the final 5 or Magic Circle of 5. John Ross Sanchez Gamboa (born November 28, 1984), known professionally as Joross Gamboa, is a Filipino actor and model who was a 2nd runner-up in the 1st season of Star Circle Quest. Career After four years of being with ABS-CBN Star Magic, ''Joross Gamboa'' is asked to be released and signed a two-year contract under the management of Becky Aguila. He was seen in the comedy segment ''Kaya Mo Ba To?'' in 2005 followed by ''Maynila'' in 2007 of the GMA Network, which became the reason for rumors of ''Joross Gamboa'' moving to the said Network. After signing a contract with Becky Aguila, he will stay with ABS-CBN as his new talent manager still has issues with GMA Network.
