Celina Lemmen
Celina Johanna Maria Lemmen (born March 2, 1985) is a Dutch swimmer who specialized in freestyle events. She is a single-time Olympian (2004), and a double medalist in sprint freestyle at the 2001 European Junior Championships in Valletta, Malta. Lemmen grew up in San Antonio, Texas, where she attended Ronald Reagan High School and competed for their swim team. She then attended Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas, where she majored in management, and swam for the SMU Mustangs under head coach Steve Collins. While studying in the United States on an athletic scholarship, Lemmen has earned numerous high school and state titles, and received two-year All-American honors in college swimming. Marleen Veldhuis
Magdalena Johanna Maria "Marleen" Veldhuis (born 29 June 1979) is a retired swimmer from the Netherlands. She was world record holder in four events (one individual event and three relay events). Veldhuis won eight world championships gold medals and 20 European championships gold medals. In the Olympics, she won a bronze medal in London 2012 in the 50 m freestyle, as well as three relay medals: bronze in Athens 2004, gold in Beijing 2008, and silver in London 2012. Personal life Veldhuis was born on 29 June 1979 in Borne in the Netherlands. She was brought up in the eastern part of the Netherlands. Haike Van Stralen
Haike Eva van Stralen (born 22 April 1983) is a Dutch former swimmer, who specialized in freestyle events. She is a two-time Olympian (2000 and 2004), and double Dutch short-course champion in the 200 and 400 m freestyle. Van Stralen also played for De Kempvis Swimming Club in Spijkenisse, under her personal coach Dick Bergsma. Van Stralen made her first Dutch team, as a 17-year-old teen, at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney. She placed eleventh, along with Carla Geurts, Chantal Groot, and Manon van Rooijen, in the 4×200 m freestyle relay with a time of 8:08.53. Four years later, at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, Van Stralen competed again in the women's 4×200 m freestyle relay as a member of the Dutch team. Chantal Groot (born 19 October 1982) is a butterfly and freestyle swimmer from the Netherlands, who has represented her country in many international championships since 1999. The best distance of Chantal Groot is the 50 m butterfly in which she won five European LC Championships medals, for the first time in 1999 in Istanbul, and became European Champion in 2008 in Eindhoven.
