Celebrity Driving School
''Driving School'' is a docusoap that was broadcast on BBC1 in the summer of 1997, which followed a group of learner drivers around Bristol and South Wales. The series was made on a reduced budget but shown in primetime, it created one of the first reality TV stars in Maureen Rees. The series was created and directed by the British film and documentary maker Francesca Joseph. It was narrated by Quentin Willson, who would later present the similar ''Britain's Worst Driver''. In October 2022 all 6 episodes were made available on BBCiPlayer. Maureen Rees Others Teenager Danny wanted to pass his test so he could visit his girlfriend in Preston. Paul O'Grady
Paul James O'Grady Order of the British Empire, MBE Deputy Lieutenant, DL (born 14 June 1955) is an English comedian, broadcaster, actor, writer and former drag queen. He achieved notability in the London gay scene during the 1980s with his drag queen persona Lily Savage, very popular in the 1990s. O'Grady subsequently dropped the character and in the 2000s became the presenter of various television and radio shows, most notably ''The Paul O'Grady Show''. Melanie Clare Sophie Giedroyc (; , born 5 June 1968) is a British actress, comedian and television presenter. With Sue Perkins, she has co-hosted series including ''Light Lunch'' for Channel 4, ''The Great British Bake Off'' for the BBC and chat show ''Mel and Sue'' for ITV. In early 2017, Giedroyc co-presented the BBC show '' Let It Shine''. Early life Giedroyc was born on 5 June 1968 in Epsom, Surrey, and grew up in Leatherhead. Gareth Paul Gates (born 12 July 1984) is an English singer-songwriter and actor. He was the runner-up in the first series of the ITV talent show ''Pop Idol'' in 2002.
