Celebrity Big Brother Australia
''Celebrity Big Brother'' was a celebrity edition of '' Big Brother''. It lasted for 23 days, starting on 21 July 2002 and ending on 12 August 2002. A proportion of the profits from ''Eviction'' votes went to charities. This was the only series of ''Celebrity Big Brother'' that was made as a part of the Big Brother Australia format. This series used the same house from '' Big Brother 2'', which itself used the house from '' Big Brother 1'', but slightly remodeled. The bathroom was off limits to the cameras. Several guest celebrities appeared briefly in the series on only a temporary basis without becoming a housemate. These included Carla Bonner ('' Neighbours'' actress) and Bert Newton. Gretel Killeen
Gretel Killeen (born 3 February 1963) is an Australian comedian, television presenter, media personality and author. She is known for being the host of '' Big Brother Australia'' from its inception in 2001 until the 2007 season (including ''Celebrity Big Brother'' in 2002). Gabby Millgate is an Australian actress, writer and comedian best known for her role in the film ''Muriel's Wedding'' (1994) and comedy sketch shows '' Full Frontal'' (1993) and ''Totally Full Frontal'' (1998). Triple M is an Australian commercial radio network owned and operated by Southern Cross Austereo. Mikel Mason "Mikey" Robins (born 8 December 1961) is an Australian media personality, comedian and writer. He is best known for the satirical game show ''Good News Week'', which ran on the ABC and Network Ten between 1996 and 2000, and returned again when the series was resurrected in February 2008. The Wiggles
The Wiggles are an Australian children's music group formed in Sydney in 1991. The group are currently composed of Anthony Field, Lachlan Gillespie, Simon Pryce and Tsehay Hawkins, as well as supporting members Evie Ferris, John Pearce, Caterina Mete and Lucia Field. The Wiggles were founded in 1991 by Field, Murray Cook, Jeff Fatt, Greg Page and Phillip Wilcher. Wilcher left the group after their first album. ''Big Brother 2002'', also known as ''Big Brother 2'', was the second season of the Australian reality television series '' Big Brother''. The season started on 8 April 2002, and ended on 1 July 2002, lasting 86 days. Big Brother 2002 was similar to the first season '' Big Brother 2001'', and was the only one to use the same house from a previous season, albeit with some small modifications. Simultaneous with the main house was a house of six potential Intruders. Anthony Mundine Jr. (born 21 May 1975) is an Australian former professional boxer and rugby league footballer. In boxing he competed from 2000 to 2021, and held the WBA super-middleweight title twice between 2003 and 2008. Australian Football League
The Australian Football League (AFL) is the only fully professional competition of Australian rules football. Through the AFL Commission, the AFL also serves as the sport's governing body and is responsible for controlling the laws of the game. Originally known as the Victorian Football League (VFL), it was founded in 1896 as a breakaway competition from the Victorian Football Association (VFA), with its inaugural season commencing the following year.
