Cegedim SA is a health technology company based in Boulogne-Billancourt, founded in 1969. It employs more than 4,200 people in more than 10 countries. Revenue in 2017 was €457 million. The American subsidiary, Cegedim Inc., is based in Bedminster, New Jersey and has 2500 employees. It was formerly known as Dendrite International Inc. Founded in 1986, it changed its name in 2007. Several Cegedim companies have been established in Romania since 2001: Cegedim Customer Information, a research and services company for pharma industry, Cegedim Rx, a software and services company for medical ambulatory assistance and the Cegedim Service Center. It owns Cegedim Rx, which supplies pharmacy software (from the takeover of John Richardson Computers and NDC Health in 2004) and In Practice Systems Limited, which supplies primary care software. In Practice Systems Limited (INPS) is a health informatics company, part of the Cegedim group and based in the United Kingdom. Company history The company was established in 1984 under the name of Ranchalley Ltd. It quickly changed its name to Value Added Medical Products Ltd (VAMP) and then to Reuters Health Information Ltd in 1997. In 1998 INPS was acquired by the Cegedim group. In 2004, the company purchased the UK arm of NDCHealth, makers of ''Pharmacy Manager'' software that was widely used across the UK. It later rebranded as Vision. In 1990 VAMP was one of the four most popular GP computer systems in Wales. Boulogne-Billancourt (; often colloquially called simply Boulogne, until 1924 Boulogne-sur-Seine, ) is a wealthy and prestigious Communes of France, commune in the Parisian area, located from its Kilometre zero, centre. Peppol (''Pan-European Public Procurement Online'') is a set of specifications for establishing and also the primary implementation of a federated electronic procurement system for use across different jurisdictions. Through Peppol, participant organisations can deliver procurement documents to each other including electronic invoices in machine readable formats, avoiding the labour of data entry. OpenPeppol, a non-profit international association registered in Belgium, is the governing body of the primary implementation and developer of specifications. The primary implementation of Peppol at the 1st of March 2022 had 485411 participant organisations from 78 countries registered to receive procurement documents.
