Cees Lok
Cees Lok (born 18 August 1966) is a Dutch former professional footballer and manager. He currently works as a technical manager. Playing career Cees began his career at FC Wageningen before he entered service at NEC. There, he became a stable and highly acclaimed defender who would finally play 230 league games for the Nijmegen club. He managed to score 57 goals in these matches. Because of his height he was also often used as a striker at NEC. His final years there were marked by injuries. Following yet another return after a serious injury, he managed to score the winning goal against Feyenoord in his comeback match. As a player, he gained the nickname ''The Living Legend'' from the NEC supporters. Michel Georges Jean Ghislain Preud'homme (born 24 January 1959) is a Belgian retired footballer and manager who played as a goalkeeper. Currently, he is vice-president and sports director at Standard Liège. He was considered one of the world's best and most consistent goalkeepers during his professional career; he was the first winner of the Yashin Award as the best goalkeeper at the 1994 FIFA World Cup. At club level, Preud'homme played for Standard Liège, Mechelen and Benfica. With Mechelen, he won the Belgian Cup in 1987, the Cup Winner's Cup and the European Super Cup in 1988 and the Belgian league title in 1989. He also won the Portuguese Cup with Benfica in 1996. Steve McClaren
Stephen McClaren (born 3 May 1961) is an English former professional footballer and coach who currently serves as an assistant coach for Premier League club Manchester United, in his second spell at the club. McClaren began his coaching career with Oxford United, before joining Derby County in 1995. In 1999, McClaren was hired by Manchester United as Brian Kidd's replacement as Alex Ferguson's assistant manager. He held that position for two years, until he was hired as manager of Middlesbrough. Mohammed "Mo" Allach (born 20 September 1973) is a Dutch football executive and former player. He serves as the technical director of RKC Waalwijk. Playing career Allach studied social pedagogy after high school. He started his professional career at a relatively late age. He was a youth worker in Gouda, South Holland and played at amateur level with DWO in Zoetermeer and Alphense Boys when he was recruited in 1996 by the second-tier Eerste Divisie club Excelsior. Halfway through the 1999–2000 season, Allach moved to top-tier side Feyenoord, where he did not make an official appearance. In 2000, he left for Groningen, where he was a regular starter for more than two seasons. KNVB Cup
The KNVB Beker (; en, KNVB Cup), branded as the TOTO KNVB Beker for sponsorship reasons, is a competition in the Netherlands organized by the Royal Dutch Football Association (KNVB) since 1898. It was based on the format of the English FA Cup. Outside the Netherlands, it is often referred to as the Dutch Cup. The Beloften Eredivisie (; ''"Promised Honor Division"'') was the highest football league in for reserve teams in the Netherlands organized by the Royal Dutch Football Association (KNVB). The league was founded in 1992 as ''Reserve Teams Eredivisie'' and this name was in use until the 2000–01 season. The second teams are called ''beloften'' teams. Until the 2009–10 season the league champion, as well as the KNVB Reserve Cup winner, was awarded a ticket for the regular KNVB Cup but the reserve teams were disbanded from the KNVB Cup. A Super Cup was installed instead. There was no promotion and the team finishing at the bottom of the table was relegated to the Beloften Eerste Divisie. The Vierde Divisie, formerly known as Hoofdklasse () is the second-highest league of amateur football in the Netherlands, and the fifth tier in general. Background The league is divided into two sections: Saturday and Sunday. This is a result of the traditional pillarisation ( nl, verzuiling), the segregation of Dutch society.
