Cecilia Hincapié
Cecilia Hincapié (born 20 November 1976) is a Colombian former professional tennis player. Hincapié, who comes from Manizales, competed on the international tour in the early 1990s. She reached a best singles ranking of 405 in the world and won one ITF title. From 1993 to 1995 she represented the Colombia Fed Cup team, which included World Group appearances in the first two years. Her career continued in the United States in the late 1990s, where she played college tennis for Auburn University at Montgomery. She earned NAIA All-American selection in each of her three seasons, between 1996 and 1998, before moving to Clemson University as a senior in 1999. ITF Women's Circuit
The ITF Women's World Tennis Tour, previously known as the ITF Women's Circuit, is a series of professional tennis tournaments run by the International Tennis Federation for female professional tennis players. History It serves as a developmental circuit for the WTA Tour, which is run by the independent Women's Tennis Association (WTA). There are several hundred ITF Women's Circuit tournaments each year, spread across all six inhabited continents, with prize money ranging from US$15,000 to US$100,000. Players who succeed on the ITF Women's Circuit earn sufficient points to be eligible for qualifying draw or main draw entry to WTA tournaments. Until 2011 the ITF Women's Circuit was the level immediately below the main WTA Tour, but in 2012 the WTA introduced an intermediate level, the WTA 125K series. Carmiña Giraldo
Carmiña Giraldo (born 6 August 1976) is a Colombian former professional tennis player. Biography Giraldo comes from the city of Pereira in Risaralda and is the elder sister of Colombian Davis Cup competitor Santiago Giraldo, who is the country's highest ever ranked male player. From 1992 to 1997, Giraldo represented the Colombia Fed Cup team in a total of 23 ties. Her biggest performances at Fed Cup level include partnering Cecilia Hincapié in a doubles win over Chile in the 1993 World Group Play-off, secured 13–11 in the third set, to prevent Colombia being demoted. In a 1994 World Group tie against Germany she took the second set off top 20 player Anke Huber in a singles rubber, before losing in the third. Giraldo reached her best singles ranking of 256 in 1997 and left the professional tour at the end of the year to attend Clemson University in the United States. María Virginia Francesa
María Virginia Francesa (born 25 March 1974) is a Venezuelan former professional tennis player. Raised in Caracas, Francesa represented the Venezuela Fed Cup team in 19 ties, debuting in 1991. She won a total of 18 rubbers, nine in singles and nine in doubles. Her last appearance in 2001 was a World Group play-off tie against Croatia. María Dolores Campana (born 5 April 1975) is an Ecuadorian former professional tennis player. Biography Born in Quito, Campana competed on the professional tour in the 1990s and reached a best singles ranking of 287 in the world. She made her only WTA Tour main draw appearance at the 1995 Zagreb Open, where she featured in the doubles.
