Cecil Doggette
Cecil Doggette (born November 15, 1970, in Queens, New York) is a former Arena Football League Defensive specialist. He played college football at Hudson Valley Community College and West Virginia. In his career, Doggette played for the Columbus Destroyers, Detroit Drive, Arizona Rattlers, Grand Rapids Rampage, and various National Football League and NFL Europe teams. High school years Doggette attended Bayside High School in Queens and was a standout in football and track. Personal life Cecil is married to former West Virginia University gymnast, Becky Doggette (née Morrison). Defensive Specialist
In arena football, a specialist was a player, other than a quarterback or placekicker, who was exempt from the league's one-platoon system ("Iron Man"). Under the original Arena football system, six of the eight players on each team were required to play both offense and defense. One of the two offensive positions was required to be a quarterback or, in the event of a kick, a placekicker. The other was known as an ''offensive specialist'' (OS). World Bowl
The World Bowl was the annual American football championship game of the World League of American Football/NFL Europe. The World Bowl was played each year from 1991 to 2007 (except 1993 and 1994). The game was conceived as the final of the NFL-related spring league, the World League. The first World Bowl was played in 1991 in London. With the 1995 relaunch of the World League with the North American teams removed, all subsequent World Bowls were played in Europe between European clubs. Fumble
A fumble in gridiron football occurs when a player who has possession and control of the ball loses it before being downed (tackled), scoring, or going out of bounds. By rule, it is any act other than passing, kicking, punting, or successful handing that results in loss of ball possession by a player. A fumble may be forced by a defensive player who either grabs or punches the ball or butts the ball with their helmet (a move called "tackling the ball").
