Cebu's 2nd Congressional District
Cebu's 2nd congressional district is one of the seven congressional districts of the Philippines in the province of Cebu. It has been represented in the House of Representatives of the Philippines since 1916 and earlier in the Philippine Assembly from 1907 to 1916. The district consists of the southern Cebu municipalities of Alcoy, Argao, Boljoon, Dalaguete, Oslob, Samboan and Santander. It is currently represented in the 19th Congress by Edsel Galeos of the Lakas-CMD. The 19th Congress of the Philippines ( fil, Ikalabinsiyam na Kongreso ng Pilipinas), composed of the Philippine Senate and House of Representatives, convened on July 25, 2022. The 19th Congress is meeting during the first three years of Bongbong Marcos's presidency, and will end on June 4, 2025. Cordova, Cebu
Cordova, officially the Municipality of Cordova ( ceb, Lungsod sa Cordova; tgl, Bayan ng Cordova), is a 3rd class municipality of the Philippines, municipality in the Philippine Province, province of Cebu, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 70,595 people. Also spelled Cordoba, most of the municipality lies on separate islands off the southern coast of Mactan Island.
