Cebu's 1st Congressional District
Cebu's 1st congressional district is one of the seven congressional districts of the Philippines in the province of Cebu. It has been represented in the House of Representatives of the Philippines since 1916 and earlier in the Philippine Assembly from 1907 to 1916. The district consists of the cities of Carcar, Naga and Talisay and the municipalities of Minglanilla, San Fernando and Sibonga. It is currently represented in the 19th Congress by Rhea Gullas of the Nacionalista Party (NP). Celestino Rodriguez
Celestino Lazala Rodriguez (May 11, 1872 – 1955) was a Filipinos, Filipino lawyer and politician from Cebu, Philippines. He served as member and deputy in the Philippine Assembly (1907–1912), as Senate of the Philippines, senator (1916–1922), member of the 1st National Assembly of the Philippines, 1st National Assembly (1935–1938), and 1st Congress of the Commonwealth of the Philippines, 1st Congress of the Commonwealth in 1945. Tabogon, officially the Municipality of Tabogon ( ceb, Lungsod sa Tabogon; tgl, Bayan ng Tabogon), is a 3rd class municipality in the province of Cebu, Philippines. Catmon, officially the Municipality of Catmon ( ceb, Lungsod sa Catmon; tgl, Bayan ng Catmon), is a 4th class municipality in the province of Cebu, Philippines.
