Cazwell
Luke Caswell, known mononomously as Cazwell, is an American rapper, record producer and songwriter. He has released the three studio albums '' Get Into It'' in 2006, '' Watch My Mouth'' in 2009 and ''Hard 2 B Fresh'' in 2014, along with videos and singles. Career 1999–05: Career beginnings Starting in the late 1990s, under the name Caswell, he was part of the hip-hop duo Morplay, which also included female MC Crasta Yo. Morplay started in Boston and moved to New York in 1999. In 2003, Cazwell released his first single ''The Sex That I Need'' with Avenue D. 2006–08: ''Get Into It'' In 2006, Cazwell released his debut studio album '' Get Into It'' featuring lead single "All Over Your Face" and the four follow-up singles "Do You Wanna Break Up", "I Buy My Socks On 14th Street" and "Watch My Mouth". ''Watch My Mouth'' is the second album by rapper Cazwell. ''Watch My Mouth'' is his first full-length album, with eight bonus tracks. Cazwell described the music of the album as "dance more than anything else. There are some hip hop elements, but I wouldn’t call it a hip hop album. ''Get Into It'' is the first album by rapper Cazwell. The album can also be seen as an extended play or mini-album, since it consists of seven original songs and eight remixes. Copies bought from his official website could also be autographed by him if the purchaser chose. To celebrate the release, Clubplanet threw a release party. Cazwell celebrated the release of the album with a live performance featuring Avenue D and Amanda Lepore who also contributed to the album. Homo Hop
LGBT representations in hip hop music have existed since the birth of the genre despite blatant discrimination. Hip hop has long been portrayed as one of the least LGBT-friendly genres of music, with a significant body of the genre containing homophobic views and anti-gay lyrics, with mainstream artists such as Eminem and Tyler, the Creator having used homophobia in their lyrics. Attitudes towards homosexuality in hip hop culture have historically been negative. True Colors Tour 2007
True Colors was an annual music event created by American recording artist Cyndi Lauper. The concerts were headlined by Lauper and featured various music and comedy acts. Beginning in 2007, the trek supported the Human Rights Campaign, Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays, PFLAG and the Matthew Shepard Foundation. Other local and private LGBT charities and foundations were supported as the event grew. The tour began with 16 shows in 2007 expanding to 25 shows in 2008. Avenue D was an American electroclash duo from Miami, Florida. Based in New York City, the duo consisted of Debbie D. (Debbie Attias) and Daphne D. (Daphne Gomez-Mena).
