Cazadores de Artemisa (English: Artemisa Hunters) is a Cuban baseball team based in Artemisa. They are a member of the Cuban National Series and play their home games at 26 de Julio Stadium, opened in 1968 and with a capacity of 6,000 spectators. Artemisa
Artemisa () is a municipality and city in Cuba, formerly part of La Habana Province. According to a law approved by the Cuban National Assembly in August 2010, Artemisa became the capital city of the newly formed Artemisa Province, which comprises eight municipalities of the former La Habana Province and three from Pinar del Río. It has an area of 642.0 square kilometers and a population of over 85,000 inhabitants (2017). Due to its coffee crops in the past and the bucolic local landscape, it has received the nickname "Jardín de Cuba" (Garden of Cuba) and is also known as the "Villa Roja" (Red Village) due to the color of its soils. The municipality is home to the University of Artemisa, which trains professionals in agricultural sciences, high school and higher education teachers, business sciences, among others. Adrián González Savín (born May 8, 1982), also known by his nicknames "A-Gon" and "Titán", is a Mexican-American former professional baseball first baseman He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Texas Rangers, San Diego Padres, Boston Red Sox, Los Angeles Dodgers, and New York Mets. José Padrón Martín (5 May 1907 – 3 December 1966) was a Spanish footballer who played for RCD Espanyol, Sevilla FC and FC Barcelona in Spain and various clubs in France. Club career A native of Las Palmas, the capital of Gran Canaria and the co-capital of the Canary Islands, Padrón played five times for the Spain national team, scoring two goals. He made his début in a 5–0 victory against Portugal on 17 March 1929, scoring two goals. He won the Copa del Rey with Espanyol in 1928–29; he is listed in some sources as one of the goalscorers in the final, and in others as one of five players sent off (there is confusion between him and Francisco Tena in both respects).
