Cayetano (Giorgos Bratanis)
Giorgos Bratanis (born August 29, 1977), better known by his artistic name Cayetano is a Greek musician. He performs with his band — Cayetano Live Band — and as a DJ worldwide. Biography Ever since Bratanis was very young, he was involved with several indie bands and at the same time he was studying music. In 1995 he was a member of the popular band "Stroggylo Kitrino" (The Round Yellow). They released two albums, "Stroggylo Kitrino" in 1996 and "O Ksenos" (The Stranger") in 1999 from the legendary "Lazy Dog Records". In 2000 he started travelling all over Europe and then stayed in Barcelona, Spain, until 2004. There he worked with several Spanish groups as a pianist and a bassist, toured with them in Spain, wrote music for theater and cinema, and made the dub-triphop-jazz oriented "Cayetano" project. Cayetano Hilario Abellán
Cayetano Hilario Abellán (born 21 May 1916 in Argamasilla de Alba, Spain – died 1997) was a Spanish self-taught sculptor who produced sculptures based on different themes. His work is known because of his group of characters from the Miguel de Cervantes' well known novel ''Don Quixote'' (''The Ingenious Gentleman Don Quixote of La Mancha''), among others. Cayetano Santos Godino (October 31, 1896 – November 15, 1944), also known as "El Petiso Orejudo" ("The Big-Eared Midget"), was an Argentinian serial killer who terrorized Buenos Aires at age 16. In the early 20th century he was responsible for the murder of four children, the attempted murder of another seven children, and seven counts of arson. Antonio Cayetano Rivera Ordóñez (born January 13, 1977 in Madrid, Spain) is a Spanish ''torero'' or 'bullfighter'. Family ties Rivera is the son of Francisco Rivera 'Paquirri' and Carmen Ordóñez. He belongs to a long line of famous bullfighters: his great-grandfather was Cayetano Ordóñez, who fought under the name 'El Niño de la Palma', and was the inspiration for the young matador in Ernest Hemingway's novel ''The Sun Also Rises''. Dr. Cayetano Coll y Toste (November 30, 1850 – November 19, 1930), was a Puerto Rican historian and writer. He was the patriarch of a prominent family of Puerto Rican educators, politicians and writers. Early years Coll y Toste was born in the city of Arecibo, Puerto Rico where he received his primary and secondary education. In 1863, he entered the Jesuits' Seminary College in San Juan from where he graduated with a bachelor's degree in Philosophy in 1868. In 1872, Coll y Toste went to Barcelona, Spain and enrolled in the "School of Medicine" of the University of Barcelona. From here he graduated as a "Doctor in Medicine and Surgery" in 1872. Cayetano Domingo Grossi
Cayetano Domingo Grossi (1854 – April 6, 1900) was the first serial killer in Argentinian history. He murdered five of his own neonatal children that were born as the result of his rape of his two stepdaughters. For this reason he was sentenced to death and executed by firing squad on April 6, 1900. History On May 29, 1896, a bag containing the arm of a baby was found at a waste facility. The findings were reported to Police Station 12, where the head of police ordered an inspection of the place. Leaving the place under surveillance, they found, among the trash, a shattered skull, legs, and the other arm. It was concluded that all parts were from the same body. The autopsy revealed that baby died from a skull fracture, but the investigation did not yield any leads as to who the victim or the killer was, leaving the crime unsolved. Cayetano Ré Ramírez (7 February 1938 – 26 November 2013) was a Paraguayan professional football player and manager. Career Ré began his career in Asunción, playing for Cerro Porteño before signing for Spanish side Elche CF in 1959. After three seasons with Elche, Ré was signed by FC Barcelona where he spent the best years of his career, especially in the 1964–1965 season in which he scored 26 goals and won the Pichichi Trophy (awarded to the top scorer of the league). After playing for four years in Barcelona (where he scored 90 goals in total) he moved to RCD Espanyol. Cayetano María Huarte Ruiz de Briviesca was a Spanish writer and poet. He was born in Cádiz in 1741 and died in 1806. Biography Son of perpetual alderman Juan Antonio de Huarte and brother of Francisco de Huarte, one of the contributors to the foundation of the Academy of Fine Arts of Cádiz, Cayetano was born in 1741. After receiving a doctorate in Theology from the University of Osuna he joined a cathedral chapter in 1773. He was subsequently named director of the College of Santa Cruz, which was founded with the aim of serving as the talent pool for the cathedral choir. He visited the town of Vejer de la Frontera after evidence appeared suggesting that Saint Cervantes and Saint Germain passed through the town on their way to Tangier to receive martyrs' palms. Cayetano José Rodríguez
Cayetano José Rodríguez (1761 – 21 January 1823) was an Argentine cleric, journalist and poet. He was a representative to the Congress of Tucumán of 9 July 1816 which declared the Independence of Argentina. Rodríguez was born in San Pedro, Buenos Aires Province and was educated at a Franciscan school, joining the Order at 16. He became a priest in 1783 and entered the University of Córdoba, where he held the chairs of theology and philosophy 1783-1790. In 1790 he returned to Buenos Aires and taught theology and physics at the Franciscan convent. His teachings are preserved at the convent of San Francisco and in Jujuy. Rodríguez was impressed by the patriots and revolutionaries of the early 19th century, even dedicating a poem to the slaves who helped defend the city against the British invasions.
