Cavina
Gianni Cavina (9 December 1940 – 26 March 2022) was an Italian film actor. He appeared in more than 40 films from 1968 to 2022. Born in Bologna, Cavina trained as a stage actor at the Teatro Stabile di Bologna, under the direction of Franco Parenti. He made his film debut in the 1968 horror '' Balsamus, l'uomo di Satana'', directed by Pupi Avati, with whom he had a long collaboration, starring in many of his films. Cavina died in his hometown Bologna on 26 March 2022, at the age of 81. ''The House with Laughing Windows'' ( it, La casa dalle finestre che ridono) is a 1976 Italian ''giallo'' film co-written and directed by Pupi Avati. The film was shot in Lido degli Scacchi in the Ferrara province of the Emilia-Romagna region in northern Italy. Plot Stefano (Lino Capolicchio) arrives in a village of the Valli di Comacchio area where he has been employed to restore a fresco depicting what appears to be the martyrdom of Saint Sebastian, which has been painted on a rotting wall of the local church by a mysterious, long-dead artist named Legnani. While temporarily taking up residence in the house that had been previously owned by the two sisters of the deceased painter, Stefano begins a romance with a new, beautiful schoolteacher, Francesca ( Francesca Marciano), meanwhile learning from various townspeople that the painter had been a madman who had derived his art from real life. ''La locandiera'' (also known as ''Mirandolina'') is a 1980 Italian comedy film directed by Paolo Cavara, based on the Carlo Goldoni's three-act comedy '' The Mistress of the Inn''. Plot Mirandolina is famed for her beauty and runs an inn. From the outset, the count of Alba Fiorita and the marquis of Forlimpopoli are madly in love with her.
