Cole Caufield
Cole Caufield (born January 2, 2001) is an American professional ice hockey right winger for the Montreal Canadiens of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was drafted 15th overall by the Canadiens in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft. Following success with the USA Hockey National Team Development Program (USNTDP), Caufield played for the University of Wisconsin-Madison for the 2019–20 and 2020–21 seasons. At Wisconsin, he won the Hobey Baker Award and was the leading goal and point-scorer for the 2020–21 NCAA season. Internationally, Caufield has represented the United States in numerous tournaments including winning a gold medal at the U17 WHC, a silver and bronze medal at the 2018 U18 WJC and 2019 U18 WJC respectively, and a gold medal at the 2021 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships. Jay Caufield
John Jay Caufield (born July 17, 1960) is an American former NHL right winger. Caufield was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and was raised in the Towamencin Township, Pennsylvania, area about a mile outside Lansdale borough. He graduated from North Penn High School. Playing career During the 1979-80 hockey season, Caufield played junior hockey for the Milton Flyers of the OHA-B. The next season, he later attended Hibbing Community College, where he played hockey. Following the season, Caufield went to the University of North Dakota, where he played football and one hockey game during the 1984–85 season. He later signed with the New York Rangers in 1985 and was assigned to the Toledo Goaldiggers of the IHL. Caufield played 13 games with the Rangers in the 1986–87 season, accumulating 45 penalty minutes.
