The Catholic University Redemptoris Mater (Spanish: ''Universidad Católica Redemptoris Mater (UNICA)'') is a private university in Managua, Nicaragua. It was founded in 1992 by Cardinal Miguel Obando y Bravo Miguel Obando y Bravo, SDB (2 February 1926 – 3 June 2018) was a Nicaraguan prelate of the Catholic Church. Seat of Wisdom or Throne of Wisdom (Latin: ''sedes sapientiae'') is one of many devotional titles for Mary in Roman Catholic tradition. In Seat of Wisdom icons and sculptures, Mary is seated on a throne with the Christ Child on her lap.
