Catherine Walsh (born 1964) is an Irish poet. Biography She was born in Dublin, 1964, and grew up there and in rural Wexford. She is the founder and co-editor of hardPressed Poetry with Billy Mills. She lives in Limerick Limerick ( ; ga, Luimneach ) is a western city in Ireland situated within County Limerick. Catherine Walsh (athlete)
Catherine Mary Walsh (born 23 August 1973) is a visually impaired athlete from Ireland. She has competed internationally in both athletics and cycling, winning Paralympic medals in both. Career Walsh competed in the 1992 Summer Paralympics, where she won a bronze medal, and the 1996 Summer Paralympics, where she did not secure a medal in track and field. Later, she competed at the 2000 Summer Paralympics, where she earned a bronze medal in the women's Pentathlon - P13 event. However, in 2007, she switched from a track and field athlete to a cycling athlete, winning silver at the 2009 International Cycling Federation Para-Cycling Track World Championships. She continued her success in cycling with a World Championship bronze medal in 2011 and a gold medal in the 3km Individual Pursuit at the UCI Track Cycling World Championships. Catherine Walsh (born 1969) is an Irish actor of stage and screen. Early life Born in Cork in 1969, Walsh was educated in the Presentation in the city. She was encouraged in her goal of becoming an actor. Katherine Victoria Walsh (April 11, 1947 – October 7, 1970) was an American actress best known for her performance as Lulu in Roger Corman's movie '' The Trip'' ( 1967). Early life Walsh was born on April 11, 1947 in Kenton County, Kentucky, (or South Fort Mitchell, Kentucky, to Martha and Thomas Walsh. Her father, Thomas Walsh (died 1965), was President of the Atlantic Underwriters Agency. He was killed in the November 8, 1965 crash of American Airlines Flight 383 in Boone County, Kentucky. She was the family's oldest child, and she had two brothers and two sisters. Walsh attended Villa Madonna Academy, Dixie Heights High School, the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London, England, and the University of London. Walsh was discovered at Paramount Studios by a William Morris agent while she was having lunch with a girlfriend.
