Catherine Ricafort
Catherine Ricafort is an American actress, singer, software engineer, and entrepreneur. Ricafort has appeared in several Broadway productions, including Allegiance, the 2013 production of Cinderella, Mamma Mia!, Disaster! and Honeymoon in Vegas. Ricafort also appeared on NBC's The Sing-Off, in season 2, as part of the group, The Backbeats. Although her family comes from the Philippines, Ricafort was born and raised in the United States. She graduated from Westlake High School (California), and was an active participant in the school's choir program. In 2009, she graduated from University of Southern California with a degree in Industrial and Systems engineering, and a minor in Musical Theatre. Allegiance (musical)
''Allegiance'' is a musical with music and lyrics by Jay Kuo and a book by Marc Acito, Kuo and Lorenzo Thione. The story, set during the Japanese American internment of World War II (with a framing story set in the present day), was inspired by the personal experiences of George Takei, who stars in the musical. It follows the Kimura family in the years following the attack on Pearl Harbor, as they are forced to leave their farm in Salinas, California and are sent to the Heart Mountain Relocation Center in the rural plains of Wyoming. The musical began development in 2008 and premiered in September 2012 in San Diego, California. It played on Broadway from October 2015 to February 2016. Reviews on Broadway were mixed, although the cast was generally praised. A revival followed in Los Angeles in 2018. Sheldon J. Plankton and Karen Plankton are the main antagonists in ''SpongeBob SquarePants'', the Nickelodeon animated television series. They are respectively voiced by Mr. Lawrence and Jill Talley. Their first appearance was in the episode "Plankton!" that premiered on July 31, 1999. ''Rodgers + Hammerstein's Cinderella'' is a musical in two acts with music by Richard Rodgers, lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II, and a book by Douglas Carter Beane based partly on Hammerstein's 1957 book. The story is derived from the fairy tale ''Cinderella'', particularly the French version '' Cendrillon ou la petite pantoufle de verre'', by Charles Perrault.
