Catherine Clark (broadcaster)
Catherine Jane Clark is a Canadian television broadcaster, and the daughter of former Canadian Prime Minister Joe Clark and Maureen McTeer. Life and career Clark was born in Ottawa, Ontario. When she was 18, she moved alone to Paris to attend the American University for five months, and lived in a tiny one-bedroom flat. She graduated from the University of Toronto with a degree in art history. After graduating, she worked at the publicity firm Hill & Knowlton. She played a prominent role in the Joe Clark campaign during the federal election of 2000. In 2001, she began a career in broadcasting, hosting a television news magazine, ''Unzipped'', for the new Canadian digital cable network ichannel. The show was cancelled the following year due to financial constraints and questionable content at the network, but Clark continued to work for the network in other capacities. Catherine Clark (sports Administrator)
Catherine Clark is an Australian sport administrator. In 2021, she was appointed the chief executive officer of Paralympics Australia commencing in January 2022. She has held several chief executive officer positions with state and national sports organisations. Clark attended Caboolture State High School from 1991 to 1995, where she represented Queensland in hockey. Injury ended her elite hockey career. Between 1996 and 1999, Clark completed Bachelor of Arts in criminology at Queensland University of Technology and between 2010 and 2013 Masters of Business Administration at the University of Queensland. Catherine Clark Kroeger (December 12, 1925 – February 14, 2011) was an American writer, professor, New Testament scholar, and a leading figure within the biblical egalitarian movement. Catherine Anthony Clark
Catherine Anthony Clark (5 May 189224 February 1977), was a British-born Canadian children's author. Biography Clark was born Catherine Anthony Smith in London in 1892 as one of eight children. She moved with her family to Grey Creek, British Columbia in 1914. Clark married a local rancher. Clark began to write for ''The Prospector'', a small newspaper in Nelson. Her first novel was published when Clark was 58. Her novels were usually set in Western Canada and used local myths and legends. The illustrator on most of her books was artist Clare Bice. Her novel ''The Sun Horse'' won the Canadian Association of Children's Librarians bronze medal in 1952. Clark died in Victoria in 1977.
