Catherina Paulin
Catherina Paulin (born 3 February 1985) is a Seychellois badminton player. She was part of the national team that won the bronze medals at the 2003 and 2007 All-Africa Games, also settled another bronze medal in the women's singles in 2007. Badminton
Badminton is a racquet sport played using racquets to hit a shuttlecock across a net. Although it may be played with larger teams, the most common forms of the game are "singles" (with one player per side) and "doubles" (with two players per side). Badminton is often played as a casual outdoor activity in a yard or on a beach; formal games are played on a rectangular indoor court. Points are scored by striking the shuttlecock with the racquet and landing it within the opposing side's half of the court. Each side may only strike the shuttlecock once before it passes over the net. Play ends once the shuttlecock has struck the floor or if a fault has been called by the umpire, service judge, or (in their absence) the opposing side. The shuttlecock is a feathered or (in informal matches) plastic projectile which flies differently from the balls used in many other sports. Juliette Chantal Ah-Wan (born 29 April 1981) is a badminton player from Seychelles. Born in Victoria, Seychelles, Ah-Wan debuted in 1995 at the age of 14. Seychellois Female Badminton Players

Grace Kubi Daniel (born 24 February 1984) is a Nigerian badminton player. She defeated South Africa's Michelle Claire Edwards for the gold medal in the women's singles, and also, teamed up with Susan Ideh for a silver in the doubles at the 2007 All-Africa Games in Algiers, Algeria. Daniel qualified for the women's singles at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, after she was ranked eighty-ninth in the world, and awarded a continental spot for Africa by the Badminton World Federation. Miriam ( he, מִרְיָם ''Mīryām'', lit. 'Rebellion') is described in the Hebrew Bible as the daughter of Amram and Jochebed, and the older sister of Moses and Aaron. Michelle Claire Edwards
Michelle Claire Edwards (born 11 July 1974) is a South African badminton player. Career Edwards played badminton at the 2004 Summer Olympics, losing to Aparna Popat of India in the round of 32 in the women's singles. In the women's doubles, Edwards and her partner Chantal Botts were defeated by Nicole Grether and Juliane Schenk of Germany in the round of 32. In 2007, she won 3 medals in badminton at the 2007 All-Africa Games, a gold medal in women's doubles with Chantal Botts, a silver medal in women's singles, and a bronze medal in mixed doubles. She also participated in the Summer Olympic Games of 2008 and 2012 in the women's doubles event. At the 2008 Summer Olympics she competed with Chantal Botts, they lost to Taipei in the first round.
