Mel Bush
Mel, also sometimes referred to as Melanie, is a fictional character played by Bonnie Langford in the long-running British science fiction television series ''Doctor Who''. A computer programmer from the 20th century who is a companion of the Sixth and Seventh Doctors, she was a regular in the programme from 1986 to 1987. Her family name is never used in dialogue, but production notes and promotional literature refer to her as Melanie Bush. The end credits of her return appearance in ''The Power of the Doctor'' also credits her as Melanie Bush for the first time. The Juggernauts
''The Juggernauts'' is a Big Finish Productions audio drama based on the long-running British science fiction television series ''Doctor Who''. Plot To escape the destruction of a medical vessel the Sixth Doctor sends his red-headed companion Melanie Bush out in an escape pod, promising to seek her out once he rescues his TARDIS from the exploding ship. However, on finding his ship he is trapped in a Dalek time scoop. Keith Drinkel (born 14 November 1944) is an English actor. Drinkel was born in York, educated at St Michael's College, Leeds, and is now based in Brighton. His notable appearances in film and television include ''A Family at War'' (1970), '' Yellow Dog'' (1973), a minor role in the BBC's adaptation of the ''Lord Peter Wimsey'' story ''The Nine Tailors'' (1974), '' Looking For Clancy'' (1975), '' A Bridge Too Far'' (1977), ''Gandhi'' (1982) and the ''Doctor Who'' story ''Time-Flight'' (1982). Derek Benfield
Derek Benfield (11 March 1926 – 10 March 2009) was a British playwright and actor. He was born in Bradford, West Riding of Yorkshire, and educated at Bingley Grammar School. He was the author of the stage farce ''Running Riot'' and played Patricia Routledge's character's husband in ''Hetty Wainthropp Investigates'' (1996–1998). Arguably Benfield's best known character portrayal was as transport company foreman Bill Riley in the UK television series '' The Brothers'' in the early 1970s. Rhiannon is a major figure in the Mabinogi, the medieval Welsh story collection. She appears mainly in the First Branch of the Mabinogi, and again in the Third Branch. She is a strong-minded Otherworld woman, who chooses Pwyll, prince of Dyfed (west Wales), as her consort, in preference to another man to whom she has already been betrothed. She is intelligent, politically strategic, beautiful, and famed for her wealth and generosity. With Pwyll she has a son, the hero Pryderi, who later inherits the lordship of Dyfed. As a widow she marries Manawydan of the British royal family, and has further adventures involving enchantments. Ian Fairbairn (17 September 1931 – 2 December 2014) was an English actor who was a regular in children's science fiction programme '' Timeslip'' (in the dual roles of Alpha 4 and Dr. Frazer), as well as being a popular choice for director Douglas Camfield. His first acting role was playing a lady in waiting in '' Saint Joan'' while at Mill Hill School in London. Following National Service, Fairbairn worked in the city for a while before winning a scholarship to the Rose Bruford College of Speech and Drama. Michael Chance CBE (born in Buckinghamshire, United Kingdom 7 March 1955) is an English countertenor and the founder and Artistic Director of The Grange Festival. Chance was born in Penn, Buckinghamshire, into a musical family. After growing up as a chorister at St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle, attending the St George's School, he went on to Eton and later King's College, Cambridge.
