Concha Catalá (1881-1968) was a Spanish actress of Basque heritage and a pioneer of early Spanish theater in the early twentieth century. Early life Concepción García Paz Catalá was born on 11 February 1880 in Bilbao, Spain. Her father was a band leader and as a child, she moved with her family to Madrid. She studied at the French school of San Luis in Madrid and then moved to the Conservatory to study piano. She began studying theater under the teaching of . José Manuel Catalá Mazuecos (born 1 January 1985) is a Spanish footballer who plays for CD Gerena as a central defender or a left back. Club career Born in Villajoyosa, Province of Alicante, Valencian Community, Catalá emerged through local club Valencia CF's youth ranks, making his senior debut in Segunda División B where he successively represented Villajoyosa CF, Valencia CF Mestalla and Alicante CF. Rafael Catalá Polo (born 21 June 1961) is a Spanish politician and member of the People's Party. He has been Minister of Justice and First Notary of the Kingdom since September 2014, and was additionally interim Minister of Public Works between 19 July 2016 and 4 November 2016. Before this, he served as the 4th Secretary of State for Justice between 2002 and 2004 and as the 8th Secretary of State for Infrastructure, Transport and Housing from 2011 to 2014.
